Trapeze is an adaptable lighting system, balancing angles, geometry and tension to create a graphic and mechanical design that can be configured to suit varied purposes.
Trapeze consists of two mounting plates, between which two wires are slung, then stretched apart to mount the central lighting tube, tensioning the entire structure. The central light is able to pivot, providing the ability to throw light directly into the room, or to diffuse the beam by angling toward a wall or ceiling.
Trapeze is primarily mounted between two perpendicular surfaces in a corner; between walls and ceilings or floors, although trapeze can also be stretched between two parallel surfaces such as a hallway, or suspended from the ceiling as a pendant.
