Winner of the 2018 Mercedes Benz Design Award, Stack was created in response to a brief by Australian brand Nau Design to design an item for the living room. Stack arose from an observation of a frequent pairing of side tables and table lamps, often accompanied by reading material or a beverage.

Stack vertically arranged a storage element for the reading material, a table surface and a formed plywood shade to house the lighting element. The form arose from a tapering oblong, with voids subtracted to create various surfaces and the lampshade.
